Training for a new Strongman Competition!

This will be the first competition that I’m going to try and compete in the 176-200 lb weight class.
Events:
150 LB Keg Clean and Press for reps. 60 sec time limit. No staggered grip.
Car deadlift for reps. 60 sec time limit.
Farmers Walk Medley. 230 lb per hand down 50 ft. 260 lbs per hand back 50 ft.
Tire Flip/Keg Carry Medley. 650 lb tire down 50 ft. Carry 250 lb keg back 50 ft.
Sled Drag. Pull 650 pound sled 80 feet for time. 60 sec time limit.
I’m super pumped about this show. It should be fun competing in a higher weight class than normal as the implements will be heavier. I will definitely be light for the 200 lb weight class as I only foresee myself being around 185 day of competition. Right now the plan is a 6 week hypertrophy phase/bulk phase starting tomorrow (Monday) followed by 6 week of max strength phase to prep for the competition.
